He gave a small shrug. "The fact that my mate had died does not upset me anymore. I was foolish when I fell inlove with her. I killed the brute who had killed her. I do not mourn her death anylonger." He listened as she spoke again. He did not think she was a maniac, and if he did, he would believe he was one as well.
"Things will be better for you." He stated, a grin tugging at his lips. "I promise that." He let his tail beat at the air. "I promise."

His mood about the death of his mate had seemed to change. At first, it seemed somewhat upsetting yet casual. And now... it seemed dark. She smiled and nodded, thinking that either the fae's brother had done something or the fae herself had done something in the past. But what did it matter, really? Fact was that it was over. They were gone. And he was single. She was single. Oh... lovin' the direction. "I do very much hope so." At his promise her own tassel flicked, and she couldn't help but slow her face and gently nuzzle the side of his nape. It was a foreign feeling; a strange one. Her first time gesturing a nuzzle to another wolf was with Ashina only a few days ago. Never a'fore had she done it to an adult. "Thank you, Vash."

When September had nuzzled him, it seemed a shiver ran through his body. Not because he was cold, or because she touched him, but because of a feeling he got when she had nuzzled him. He looked at her, a small, goofy smile palced on his lips instead of the grin. He had to restrain himself from leaning over and giving her an affectionate nuzzle. He didn't care that he wanted to nuzzle her back, he wouldn't do anything to upset, or make this female angry at him.
He remained quiet as they walked, before he stopped. Standing still, he asked. "Do you want to keep walking? Or shall we just rest for a bit?" He wasn't tired..no, wasn't tired at all right now, but..he didn't want her to leave his side once they got further into the nicer parts of the packlands. He enjoyed her company.

She stepped back in a bit of surprise of her antics. It felt strange... yet, grand at the same time. With her own clean-cut smile she halted alongside him, nodding. "Ah... it may be better to rest for just a bit. The sun seems to be settling in and I'm not too aware of where we are headed." September shrugged. "I say we continue in the morning."
So that was somewhat true. But how different and divine would it be to spend just one night with a brute. Yes. A male. A male! Hard to believe, isn't it? She rested upon her hind haunches with a weary, droning glow in her eyes. "So your old mate," she spoke, deciding to question his past further. "Was she ever with child?" It was a stupid question, really. He had said that he didn't have pups earlier. But there was still the chance that perhaps the pups were stillborn, or perhaps she pregnant during her death.

Vash nodded, thinking it would be nice to continue in the morning. Letting his rump smack the ground, he shook his head. "No, we had never mated. We had never had pups. And now that I think about it, I doubt I would have had pups with her. We weren't really in love. It was a foolish kind of love. We weren't allowed to see eachother, which was the only thing that kept us together. We broke the rules because we were young." He licked his lips, before he glanced at the sky again, this time, his eyes remained glued there. "Yoou said you didn't have a mate before, and you haven't been inlove, but have you ever had pups? " Of course, he was mainly asking if she was force-mated before.
Lowering his head for a second, he slowly went into a laying position. He set his head on his front paws, and he stared forward. He couldn't look at September at the moment. He couldn't risk turning into a foolish brute. He could only hope she didn't realize he was avoiding her gaze, avoiding looking at her.

Ah. That sounds realistic enough. There were several cases of young love that she knew about. Wolven in their youth thinking that it was so cool to say 'I am in love with her'. Oh yes. She had met a couple like that in these very lands, actually. He had been the old beta, Vanir, and a foolish Lenetta female who birthed in the Kivinnan dens. September was ticked. She had begun stealing the pups from the mother, choosing which to slaughter, and then kill their mom. To make matters worse; it was during the war. Pathetic right there. But along came good old Vanir... he saved her ass. Fell in 'love' after meeting. Then, he left. She disappeared. Serves them both right.
"Ah," she whispered in reply, nodding her head to signify that she knew what he meant. A smile spread smoothly over her lips before it disappeared again, just as all the others had. "No, no. Been raped once or twice; or, attempts, anyway. There wasn't any actual contact. But those two brutes had the ride of their life after I realized what was going on." September laughed coldly in rememberance of the event.

His gaze managed to move to her, though his head remained still. So she'd almost been raped before. Oh dear, not a way to make dear ol' Vash feel good. His smile faded as she spoke. Tail curled around his side, ears slid against his skull. "You'd almost been raped before, then?" Monotone, that was how he spoke, though he had intended for it to be shocked. Monotone wasn't Vashs normally speaking voice.
Gaze moved quickly, landing infront of him again. "I had never attempted to rape a female, nor do I plan on it. I do not think any females deserve such. I've seen a few rapes in my lifetime, I managed to ruin most of them.." He licked his lips again.

She shrugged and bobbed her tiara. "Yes. Almost." Her eyes scanned across his facial expressions and she leaned over, giving him a friendly nudge on his shoulder. It wasn't anything too serious. In fact, she could freely laugh about it at the moment. "It really isn't too much of a big deal."
Her nape reclined as he spoke again. She snorted, nodding. "Yes. I do believe that that is the right thing for a male to do." A low snarl bubbled in her larnyx. "So many brutes would do anything for sex; or, at least, a good deal of the ones I've known. You don't seem to be like that though, Vash. That is very good." Her eyes glistened to hint at her interest, tassel flipping against the earth.

The small nudge on his shoulder sent shivers through his body again. How could this female be mate-less? She seemed like a sweetheart to him. "Sex is the furthest thing in my mind, actually. I do prefer cuddling to it. " He lifted his head once more, looking up at her. A friendly smile formed on his lips, before he let his head fall again. His tail was moving swiftly across the earth behind him. Ears perked once more.

She laughed and lowered her bodice flat against the earth, yawning, her tinted fangs glistening under the setting sunlight. Jowls shut and she looked at him again, nodding. "Oh, a lady's dream man," she replied with a smirk. "I don't think I've ever met a male that prefers a cuddle to a fucck." Her eyes hollowed to show how strange it was, though quite believable. And... very charming. He didn't seem to be the kind of brujo to do things like that.
Stretching her rear ends, she smiled, jowls parting. "So what are your goals? Your dreams?"

"Well, now you have." Vash replied, letting out a small chuckle. He seemed to flick his head to the side a bit, for bugs had began to fly around them. Annoying, annoying bugs. "My goals? I guess they would be...I want to live my life to the fullest, I don't plan on just laying around around the time. I want to find the perfect vix, have a family...and live to be very old with a loving mate by my side." He let out another laugh, before he looked over at her. "I have such interesting goals, no?" He had goals that most others had, he didn't caare much though.
"What about yourself, Miss September. What're you goals or dreams?"

Insects had begun to swarm around her as well, though she ignored them. A few snaps at her flesh. A few roars in her ears. But she ignored them. She wasn't in the right mood to make them all go away. "Well our desires are almost the same," September replied with a knowing nod. "I wish to have a family, to make my mark on these lands in a positive way. Perhaps some know me in a way that is bad, but I want to change that. I want to be remembered, as well as my children, and I want to spread my Claret genes through Kivinna. Oh, there are so many things I want to do." Her tiara fell to her mitts as she closed her eyes. "I want some kids of mine to live in Kivinna while the others move on to their desired packs and continue the circle of life. I want grandchildren. A mate. Friends. Foes. Everything; because so far, I've never had any of that... besides complete enemies." Her eyes reopened and she smiled. "But now that I am here, I have accomplished having a daughter and finding friends. Go me."

He returned the friendly smile, before he nudged her neck. "I'm one of them, right?" He looked at her, opening his eyes as wide as he could. "I better be." He made his bottom lip quiver like a pup would, before he let out a barkful of laughter. "I need to make more friends here. I do believe I have only spoke to Elbamick, Savannah, and yourself."

She rolled her eyes in a playful manner, eyes up towards the sky in a dramatic state. "Well I GUESS you are. Pah." September smiled and laughed upon hearing his next statement. "Ah. Well, I have met a good deal of the pack; but only because I have been a member for a longer time. Aquaintances are always in need of, though, in my book. It is much better to have more allies than enemies... to insure they've got your back in tough times."
She yawned as the sun glistened only a bit of light over the mountains, the moon taking its place. "Well, before I turn in, I think I'll snag myself a midnight snack." Her eyes turned to her in question. "Would you care to join me?"

"Mmn...I don't knowww." He said, before he stood, tail swatting at the bugs behind him. "I'd love to." He grinned, before looking around. "The only thing is, do you think any animals worth hunting are around here?" He twitched his ears, before shaking his thick brown coat.
Paws stayed firm on the soft soils where he stood, head looking at September. He managed to keep his gaze on her, this time. Letting his tail fall limp behind him, he opened his jaws, yawning, before he shook his fur again.
