Searching desperately for shelter, she sprinted silently through the forest, Her thick silver fur streaming in the wind. In her old pack she was know as runningwind, she was the quickest wolf there. She missed them, all of them, even the irritable Rawbones. She shook her head, I can't think about the past now, I must only think of the present. She was so mixed up in her thoughts she almost stumbled right into the waterfall. One look up was all that was needed to leave her paralyzed with wonder.
At last she calmed down some and continued looking for shelter. She was exploring a cave behind the waterfall when suddenly, her unusually sensitive nose picked up the scent of an old deer suffering from one of man's sticks through it's left hind leg. She brought it down with minimum difficulty. She ate ravenously, then padded back to the cave behind the waterfall. She had decided to sleep there. She brought some leaves to make a comfortable bed, then fell into a deep sleep and dreamed of what her new pack would be like when she found them.

When she awoke it was almost midnight, she cursed herself for sleeping so long. She stood up and stretched. Wearily, she poked her head around the curtain of falling water and sniffed deeply. Scenting nothing but the lush smell of the forest in the night, she felt a rush of energy and dove straight through the waterfall into the shallow pool on the other side. She raced to her kill for a snack before she continued her journey. Done eating she dashed of in the direction of a faint wolf scent.
As she neared the edge of a territory she stoped. She was upwind of them so she was sure they would catch her scent, she sat down on her haunches and waited. Eventually she wandered in and droped down with a muffled "thump" in an abandon badger den. Soon she was asleep.
